EntryExpress and Dogs
Afield
GiveBack
|
|
For immediate release....
As a way to further support
the community that made us the
leaders in our respective industries, we are announcing
the creation of the
EntryExpress/Dogs Afield GiveBack fund.
As of January 1, 2008,
every event that utilizes
EntryExpress to handle their entries and catalogs, EntryExpress
and Dogs Afield will deposit $25
into the GiveBack fund account.
For 2007, this would
have been $11,300 in the
GiveBack
fund. We expect 2008 to be an even
bigger year! Due to very low
margins in a business that succeeds only on high volume, a contribution
like this would have never been possible in the past. So how can we afford
it now?
*No startup investment
*In-house technology and
printing
*Ribbon sales
*Club equipment/popper purchases
*Combined personnel,
technology/telecom, building space and operating expenses with Dogs
Afield
Not to mention getting even better at the
industry we created. Lowering overhead, increasing volume, and proactively
seeking new forms of synergy in this sport; it benefits
YOU!
Our hope is for the GiveBack
fund to be similar to the
Hurricane Katrina mock trial fund that we did in 2005
for retriever community victims
that suffered from the hurricane. You guys contributed
and helped us raise almost
$36,000 for our friends in need.
The GiveBack fund
will be US donating to YOU! You,
as a community, will determine where the proceeds
are spent through the
GiveBack Committee.
A committee of your peers
will be put together to manage
all aspect of this fund. Student scholarships, financial
hardships, health
emergencies, natural disasters, land improvement, national events,
canine/waterfowl
legislation, etc... all worthy causes and we want to help.
GiveBack Committee
members and the GiveBack
Mission will
be announced soon. Your
feedback is always encouraged and appreciated. giveback@entryexpress.net
To get the ball rolling,
EntryExpress is making the first
deposit in the amount of $1,000. We will
keep a live/real-time balance
posted on our website at all times.
